My parents are flying over from Germany later today to come to my graduation tomorrow. I’m so glad I could convince them not to take the early morning flight (as I wanted to be able to sleep in). I’ve now managed to book them a taxi to get here from the airport, it was really difficult. Hope they’ll be okay...
Glad to hear that your family members were OK. We at mollten were about 100 miles away from London, but the train station here was closed due to a suspected bomb (later found to be harmless). I heard that phone lines in the capital were awful - networks reserved a lot of space for the emergency services though, which would explain the outage.
