I could of course fill you in on the stuff we've been doing while I've been fairly silent (2 weeks in Club Med, a weekend in Tuscany sleeping at the top of a tower in the castle at the highest point in Tuscany between Florence and Siena, an interesting linguistics conference) but I kind of think it makes sense just to leap forward to today where Kiloh is just going to sleep in her finally decorated bedroom. The colour scheme is Kiloh's choice, which means the colours are dark blue, light blue, green, red, pink and yellow. I'll post a photo at some point (this kind of thing being delayed just now because the digital camera broke as soon as we went on holiday)

I remember the first time I had a say in the way my room was decorated. I insisted it be painted bright yellow (the ceiling too, like being inside an egg) with a foot-wide arrow in bright red gloss going all the way around the room, starting and finishing at the door:-)
Yes, your parental units were reminiscing about that when we told them about Kiloh's plans B-)
